WORCESTER City conceded an injury-time equaliser as their 100 per cent record at St George's Lane was ended by Harrogate Town.

Danny Glover, on as a second-half substitute, looked to have won the game for the hosts when he headed home from Ellis Deeney's corner 10 minutes from time.

However, two minutes into stoppage-time, City failed to clear their lines inside the six-yard box and Town sub Paul Beesley prodded the ball home to secure a 2-2 draw.

Earlier, City had taken an 11th-minute lead through an own goal from Harrogate skipper Alan White before Dan Clayton equalised with a 25-yard strike 14 minutes later.

Worcester manager Carl Heeley said: "It feels a little bit like a defeat to concede in the last minute of injury-time and it's something that's blighted us this season, it's not the first time it's happened.

"That said, I thought it was probably a fair result, I don't think we quite did enough to win the game and I thought Harrogate would have been slightly unfortunate had they gone home with nothing."
