WORCESTER Warriors have confirmed that young back row Richard de Carpentier is to join the Sixways club on trial this month.

Former England Sevens international de Carpentier, who stands 6ft tall and weighs 16st 7lbs, previously played at Leicester Tigers and had a spell on loan at Nottingham in the Championship last season.

A former England Students captain, the 22-year-old forward is a product of the Fylde club in Lancashire.
