Dennis Sherriff's shot is straight at Sargeant and the keeper will gobble those up all day.

Weir clashes with Pepper, referee does nothing. Things are starting to boil over here.

Following a good performance from the referee in the first-half, it's fair to say he's not popular among the home fans at the moment.

Sargeant beats Pepper to the ball on the ground. He needed to get that right or it would have been another penalty.

Half-time. That's the best 45 minutes from City this season without doubt.

Incredibly, City have their first corner of the game. Reece shoots and his effort is blocked.

Tom Thorley tries to chip the keeper from half-way with a free-kick and is only inches over. Audacious and quality.

City get a free-kick on the right level with the six-yard box. Ellis Deeney swings the ball into the area but Rob Elvins is beaten to it in the air.

Glover tries an effort from 30 yards. Why not? he's brimming with confidence. It goes wide.

Mills fires inches wide following a tidy turn and pass from Glover. City are purring.

Glover diverts a neat header into the path of Thorley, he sprints clear down the right before having his shot charged down.

Jordan Barrow's shot from distance is comfortably wide. He had more time than he thought.

Celtic beginning to see more of the ball. Perhaps City should have done more with their earlier possession.

We've only beenplaying 16 minutes and already a few home fans are showing frustration and demanding City get the ball forward. Give the players a chance!

City's passing has been excellent in the last few minutes. Just need that final ball now.

Fiercely-driven Stalybridge free-kick is well defended by Glover.

Mills and Glover doing plenty of closing down and putting pressure on the Stalybridge defence.

Reece shoots from distance, the keepers spills the ball but soon gathers. A promising start from the hosts.

City look to be set-up 4-3-3 with Charlie Reece and Greg Mills in support of Danny Glover.
