WARRIORS re-wrote their European record book for the second week running with a 90-3 demolition of Italian minnows Rovigo.
Worcester scored 14 tries at Sixways - one more than the record 13 they managed against Gernika last weekend - while Joe Carlisle's 30-point haul was an individual record, surpassing Shane Drahm's 21.
David Lemi scorched over for four tries to match the record Rico Gear set against Gran Parma.
However, the terribly one-sided contest, which also saw tries for Andy Short (3), Carlisle (2), Matt Kvesic (2), Errie Claassens, Sam Betty and Craig Gillies, raises questions about the future of the tournament.
Warriors head coach Richard Hill said: "I was pleased with that - we had a spell at the end of the first-half when it went a bit quiet, but we spoke about that at half-time and they responded with a superb second-half.
"This group could come down to points difference and we want to get a home tie in the quarter-finals."

And I expect that the coaches will take a great deal of satisfaction from a result that keeps us top of the group.
Finally, you hope in vain. The Amlin is still very much part of the Premiership's plans for European rugby, although without clubs like Rovigo and Gernika in it.

We could have played some if not all of the players who are getting thumped every week in the 'A' league instead of the strongest team possible which turned it into a farce, they would still have won well & it would have been valuable practice, cos' by God they need it.

The club should be fined for advertising it as a rugby match.
I hope Mr Hill & his gang of coaches take no satisfaction from it whatsoever, & as to his Friday prediction that Rovigo would come 'fired-up', the only fire I saw was a couple of bangers let off on a very empty car park.
Lets hope the RFU/Premiership pull the plug ASAP.
