WHARTON Park’s Ellie Balmer won the under eight girls’ section of the Midlands Regional Finals at The Warwickshire Golf Club.
She now goes forward to the national final, which is held at Woodall Spa on Saturday, September 10.
The club was also buzzing with excitement after two holes-in-one in quick succession. Firstly, Luke Rogers saw a well-hit iron shot on the 15th hole roll in, before Bret Smith also repeated the accolade on the third.
