THE on-song Bransford Golf Club senior men’s team went one better when they won their first home match of September.
The previous fixture at their own course had produced a 6-0 whitewash against Churchill and Blakedown and this time it was Evesham who were on the wrong end of a 7-0 drubbing.
Bransford were unable to take the same form into their home match against Belmont, which was won 4½-2½ by the visitors, although they were a shade unfortunate with two of the games going to the final hole.
