THE final turkey trot of the season saw some keen scores for the yellow ball stableford at Worcester Golf and Country Club.

Winners, with two scores to count including the yellow ball, on 76 points were Pete Griffiths, Alan Boocock, Neville Green and Ron Smith.

Count-back decided runners-up spot with Simon Gill, Russ Mason, Dave Hawthorn, and Paul Davis edging out Richard Jones, Ronnie Carver, Pete Leeming, and Dave Lannie on 75.

The following day saw a runaway victory for Simon Secretan, Simon Fletcher, and brothers Wayne and Bill Sheridan.

They scored 81 points, seven clear of second-placed Duncan MacPherson, Mark Bishop, James Reading-Widdett, and Peter Leeming, with Don Hooper, Chris Kyte, Mike Taylor, and Ian Savage three points behind in third.
