Kidderminster mounted a brave comeback to land an impressive point at Vanarama Conference leaders Barnet on Saturday but it’s done little to impress bookmakers and subsequently Harriers are BetVictor’s 23/10 outsiders as they face another tricky travelling assignment, this time at Halifax.

The hosts are bet365’s 6/5 favourites for the points at the Shay, where Stan James quote a stalemate at 5/2 and after last weekend’s results, the latter might attract some market support. Less well backed will be another 3-3 scoreline (90/1, BetVictor) but there could be cash for William Hill’s 6/1, marked against it finishing one-each as well as bet365’s 15/4 for any score draw.

In Ladbrokes’s handicaps, Gary Whild’s charges are handed a goal start at 3/4 and visiting supporters taking precautions against an inconclusive affair can back their team at 6/4 in Skybet’s ‘Draw No Bet’ market.

However, the Shaymen have faltered a touch of late, including on their own patch, which is usually such a fortress and Kidderminster will undoubtedly be encouraged by their opponents’ recent results.

Punters are also set to be more optimistic, opting for wagers such as Winner.com’s 4/1 about a Harriers triumph by a one-goal margin and Stan James’s 17/4 for Whild’s troops to lead at the end of each half.

In terms of the correct score, those tipping a match total of fewer than three goals (5/6, Stan James) might like BetVictor’s 21/2 chalked against a 1-0 away victory and fans expecting both teams to find the net (3/4, betway) can tackle a 2-1 triumph at 10/1 with Paddy Power.

Nathan Blissett meanwhile, is 17/2 courtesy of bet365 to break the deadlock.
