MANAGER Gary Whild was delighted Harriers ended their Princes Park hoodoo in yesterday's 2-1 win at Dartford.

Kidderminster ended a two game losing run and avenged back-to-back defeats at the Kent-based outfit with a stirring comeback.

Their wait for a first ever win at Dartford's new ground looked as though it might continue when Ryan Hayes' corner went straight into the back of the net after 45 seconds.

But Kidderminster improved dramatically and a brace for Marvin Johnson in the 79th and 85th minutes completed a fine turn around.

"We had a few wrongs to put right after the last couple of results at Dartford," said Whild.

"We didn't get off to the best of starts but I thought the got stronger as the game went on.

"It was really disappointing to concede an early got because we set ourselves up to avoid those situations.

"No one has taken responsibility there and we find ourselves 1-0 down, so fair play to the lads, they came back stronger in the second half and showed their character."

Johnson has now scored ten goals in his best season yet for Kidderminster and his continued success will only generate further interest from Football League clubs.

He has experienced a big turn around in fortunes.

A loss of form saw him struggle to get into the side last season but a loan spell at Hednesford and a more mature approach has made him a key man for Harriers.

The manager added: "We scored two good goals from a lad who is in-form. It had been a long 12 months for him because this time last year he was going nowhere.

"It just goes to show just how quickly things can change."
