MANAGER Gary Whild has said there will be a fresh start for strikers Craig Reid and Reece Styche.

Despite speculation that the club may well be looking move on the pair, who are on comparatively high wages compared to the club's much reduced playing budget, Whild feels they could have a part to play during the 2015-16 season.

They joined on two year deals in the summer of 2014 with the hope they could bag the goals to enhance Harriers' hope of a play-off push.

But both struggled to find their best form, with Reid scoring five goals and making just under 30 appearances.

Styche had two loan spells at Conference North side Tamworth and scored only twice during 19 league appearances for Kidderminster.

“It’s well documented that Craig and Reece are higher earners but it’s a clean slate and a fresh start for the both of them here," said the Harriers boss.

“Craig was a regular for until the club’s problems arose last season and Reece has scored goals in the Conference before.

“With all the disruption we had, the season wasn’t easy for them but if they can work hard they could make a big difference for us.”
