HARRIERS will be aiming to build on a stirring opening day display when they take on Dover Athletic tomorrow night (7.45pm ko).

A 2-2 draw with Grimsby was a positive start to the Vanarama National League but they take on The Whites, who are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss at Barrow.

Among their ranks is defender Jamie Grimes, who made the switch from Aggborough to Kent over the summer and has been made captain.

"It was no secret we wanted to keep Jamie Grimes but he made the decision to go there and they've made him captain," said Harriers boss Gary Whild.

"We've tried to emphasise to the lads we've got to follow up Grimsby with another good result."

Centre back Kelvin Langmead is a doubt after bring taken off at half-time as a precaution following a fall.

If he's not fit, Jake Green looks set to come in at left-back, with Lathaniel Rowe-Turner partnering Jordan Tunnicliffe in central defence.

The manager added: "Kelvin had a heavy fall and we didn't want to take any risks with him, we're luck we've got the likes of Jake Green to come on and Lathaniel Rowe-Turner's best position is centre back.

The Shuttle will have a report from the big game on the coast online on Tuesday night.
