GARY Whild rued Harriers' poor defending after a disappointing 2-0 loss at home to Lincoln City.
A bright start by the hosts was blown away as Imps men Alan Power and Jack Muldoon scored mid way through the first half.
Both goals were down to ineffective defending, with keeper Alex Palmer's mistake gifting City their second.
"The first half was no where near good enough, the nature of the goals against us was far too easy," commented Kidderminster's head of football operations.
"It was disappointing because we knew what to expect, with the long throws and the directness but you have to deal with that better.
"You concede two goals and you have a mountain to climb."
Harriers face a very tough away game at Bromley on Tuesday night, who defeated Torquay 7-3 in Devon on Saturday.
