THE fans at Kidderminster Harriers have mixed feelings after Gary Whild departed his role of head of football operations.

Whild has ended his five years involvement at Aggborough after the board of directors decided to move him out of the position.

While the club are hoping he will take some sort of role upstairs, it's clear the former Redditch United manager will no longer be looking after first team affairs.

The club also want to find a replacement by the next gome game against Welling on October 3.

Kidderminster are bottom of the Vanarama National League and are winless after 11 games.

Tim Flowers has also declined the head coach's role, with Director of Football Colin Gordon taking over for games at Bromley and Barrow this week.

Here's what the supporters think on Twitter:

Liam Shannon - Gary Whild needed to go. Performances have been poor and so have his tactics! I'm sure we all wish him well and remember him bringing some great talent like @Lolleyj10 and @JamilleAntonio to the club

Martyn Tuffy - Thanks for everything GW, shame how it worked out but something had to change. A win tomorrow would be such a needed boost for all

John Wenham - Gutted it didn't work out for Gary, tough task on a shoestring budget. Can't see many people putting their name forward for the vacancy.

Liam Randall ‏-  I reckon Kidderminster fans who believe all of their problems will be solved by Gary Whild leaving might be in for a nasty shock.

Matt Sleep -  ‏about time Pete results speak for them selves had to change

Harry Taylor ‏-  Good to see the club saying they'll take until Welling. Proper due diligence needed, as was done on Burr after Yates.

Belinda - Gary Whild did a fantastic job under tremendous pressure. Good luck to him, he deserves to succeed in his next venture.
