HARRIERS endured more frustration as Boreham bagged a late leveller at Aggborough on Tuesday night.

Zaine Francis-Angol had fired the home team into the lead.

Kidderminster had been the better side for all of the first half but as the nerves crept in, Boreham were allowed back into the game.

Connor Clifford's excellent free-kick pegged them back as their winless start to the Vanarama National League was stretched to 15 games.

Caretaker boss Colin Gordon made two changes from the side which lost to Welling.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner was restored to central defence because of Jordan Tunnicliffe's suspension.

Francis-Angol was also handed a first start since joining the club last week.

Tahvon Campbell was moved up front in a switch that worked well, with the youngster's pace causing the Boreham defence all sorts of problems.

The away side nearly opened the scoring in the fifth minute but Junior Morais fired wide of the far post after being found by winger and ex-Kiddy man Ricky Shakes.

But Harriers took the lead in the eighth minute.

Joe Clarke curled in a dangerous corner delivery and Francis-Angol was on hand to head home at the near post, directing his effort across the face of goal.

Campbell came close to adding second several minutes later when he burst through a sleeping defence but keeper James Russell raced out to block his shot with his legs.

The goal rocked Boreham back and it took a while for the away side to recover.

Billy Clifford directed a long range effort wide in the 22nd minute.

But the home side looked the most dangerous team, particularly live wire Campbell.

Just before the break, the on-loan West Bromwich man turned sharply and fired goal wards but was denied by an athletic save from Russell.

The away team came out determined to get back into the game but did little to test Palmer.

Former Harriers man Ricky Shakes flicked a header wide in the 53rd minute.

Jamie Lucas then nodded an effort off target as Boreham had a spell of sustained pressure.

There was a setback for the hosts as Campbell limped off with an injury and was replaced in the 61st minute by Calvin Dinsley.

Andre Wright then came on for Styche in the 66th minute.

As the game wore on Harriers, who had not been in the lead at this late stage of a game all season, started to sit back and invited Boreham onto them as the nerves grew around Aggborough.

Francis-Angol needed treatment after colliding with Russell while chasing a 50-50 ball but was okay to continue.

But Harriers were started to run out of steam and an error by Dinsley allowed Connor Clifford to drive forward before being fouled by Clarke, who was booked for his efforts.

The Boreham man had the last laugh as he hammered a left-footed dipping free-kick into the bottom corner.

The hosts survived a scare in the 80th minute when Junior Morias' effort from the edge of the box got the better of Palmer but crashed off the base of the post.

Harriers looked all at sea in defence but nearly took the lead again in the 83rd minute but Luke Maxwell flashed a low shot across the face of goal.

The rookie Harriers midfielder then burst into Boreham box as Harriers piled on the pressure but Scott Doe made a fine sliding block to deny him.

It was Kidderminster who pushed hard for the winner during five minute of time added on as they won several corners.

But in the end, they had to settle for a point rather than the three they really needed.
