DAVE Hockaday has demanded that Harriers' humbling 3-0 FA Cup defeat to Stourbridge must be a turning point.

Harriers, who play two divisions above Stourbridge in the Vanarama National League, were humiliated at the War Memorial Ground.

Goals for Matt Dodd, Justin Richards and Chris Lait shot down Kiddy and left the 400 away contingent furious at their team.

Head coach Hockaday said: "That has to be the turning point because we've lost to our local rivals from two levels below in the FA Cup and they didn't have to break a sweat really.

"From my point of view we lost the game and there is so much work to do.

"I knew we had issues to resolve but there are so many.

"When you are in this situation, you are tested as a player and a lot of them did not step up."

He added: "It was not good enough, this has to be the watershed moment because we cannot go out and have just maybe three players perform.

"The rest showed no bravery and no match management.

"We weren't good enough and individual errors may have lead to the first two goals ybut even when we had chances we couldn't hit the target.

"I could stand here for hours and go through all the wrong things we did wrong.

"We weren't good enough and I genuinely wish Stourbridge all the best."
