TAKING into account the shambles of the FA Cup defeat against Stourbridge and the run of 18 league matches without a single win, which must be an unwanted all-time record for the club, chairman Rob Brown must realise that the club’s policy of investing in young players is now dead and buried.

Having been a supporter for some 55 years, I cannot remember such a disastrous start to a season, with the club fighting relegation.

The board should realise the budget for the team at the start of the season was set far too low and must be increased immediately to bring in more experienced players to turn the club around.

Many fans have paid good money up front for season tickets and taking into account how last season bombed out, they have been taken for a ride yet again.

They deserve better.
