KELVIN Langmead believes Harriers' improvement will shake-up the relegation battle in the Vanarama National League.

Harriers breathed life into their battle to escape the drop zone with wins over Boreham Wood and Eastleigh this week.

That was enough to take them off the bottom and they will be looking to record a third straight win when Macclesfield come to Aggborough tomorrow (3pm ko).

"Our average attendance is seventh in the league so for where we've been all season and the results we've had that is incredible," said Langmead.

"We are looking strong and we're not finished. I think there will be a few clubs who thought we were dead and buried but we're not.

"We've got a great game on Saturday and we'll take a lot of confidence going into it."

Harriers will check to see whether Ben Whitfield and Elton Ngwatala have recovered from knocks for tomorrow's clash.

Caretaker manager Colin Gordon admitted his biggest worry is too many injuries derailing Harriers improvement.

He said: "The players believe in what we're trying to do and they will go out and entertain the fans.

"Our squad is quite slim so my only worry is that if we pick up injuries to a few players."

Meanwhile, Macclesfield are themselves looking to get back on track after just one win in six matches, a run including three consecutive league losses.

Among their ranks will be former Kidderminster striker Reece Styche, who spent 18 months at the club before he left by mutual consent in January.

Macclesfield also boast prolific front man Kristian Dennis, who has scored 21 goals in 27 matches.
