RELEGATION battling Harriers are set to be without striker Arthur Gnahoua after he injured his ankle in yesterday's 1-1 draw at Woking.

The French striker had to come off at the end of the first half after he took a knock on that troublesome problem area.

It means he is set to miss tomorrow's home clash against Tranmere Rovers (3pm ko).

Caretaker boss Colin Gordon also said that Ousmane Fane and Evan Garnett will have knocks checked out after a tough game in rain swept Surrey.

But in a boost, Elton Ngwatala successfully came through a cameo against Woking after eight games sidelined by a knee problem.

He said: "It was the same ankle and he (Gnahoua) took a knock and I think he will be a while.

"He is such an important player for us.

"Elton was off the pace which is what you expect because it is the first time he has played any football.

"We will have a look, we have got lads back from loans who want to play and they may get their chance.

"People will have to be patient with Elton, it will take a few games for him to get back to his best.

"It is great to have him back but we might lose two other in the meantime because Ousmane Fane and Evan Garnett have knocks.

"We might be a bit patched up but we'll have a right good go.

"It will be a good crowd and atmosphere."

Kidderminster will be looking to build on a battling display on Saturday as they came from behind to earn a point.

Dan Carr had fired the Cards ahead in the 14th minute but James McQuilkin's third goal in two games ensured a share of the spoils.

Gordon added: "The first half was poor and the conditions ruined the game. I would have loved to have played it on Friday when it was sunny.

"It was unfortunate for us, the weather turned and we were playing against the wind in the first half.

"We needed to go on the front foot but some of the players were being brave and some weren't.

"Sometimes I think we're a team looking for an excuse to lose and I want reasons to win.

"I am really disappointed, I didn't think there was any reason to worry."

Kidderminster remain bottom of the Vanarama National League, ten points from safety.

They would need to win their seven games to have a chance of survival, with five of those matches at home.
