HARRIERS can confirm the acquisition of former Preston North End midfielder Ryan Croasdale ahead of Saturday’s game with Stalybridge Celtic.

The 21-year-old has penned non-contract forms at Aggborough in time to be available to boss John Eustace against Celtic, with whom the player spent a previous loan spell.

Croasdale began his career with Preston after coming through their youth ranks, but left to join Sheffield Wednesday two years ago.

He’s had loan spells with Stalybridge and Tamworth at this level and, having left Wednesday in the summer, comes to Aggborough as a free agent.

Boss John Eustace said: “We’re a little light on midfield options and Ryan has done well in training with us recently.

“It’s only a non-contract arrangement for now but he has a real opportunity to come in and keep on impressing us.”

Meanwhile, Harriers goalkeeper Jono Brown has joined Yate Town on loan until January.
