HARRIERS boss John Eustace says his young players froze during their FA Cup encounter with league side Blackpool.

Kidderminster lost 2-0 at Bloomfield Road on Sunday after conceding two first half goal, one of which came from former forward Jamille Matt.

Harriers never recovered and failed to get their passing game going.

Eustace said: "I didn't really enjoy it. I was disappointed with the performance and I think a few of the lads froze out there. It showed we need some experience.

"But the lads have got to learn from it. It showed we have got a very young group.

"Obviously I'm very proud of the way they kept going but I think we could have done a lot better. They scored a sloppy goal from our defending.

"I wasn't interested in the result but more about how this young group did playing at a level like this, and I think we let ourselves down a little bit.

"The travelling fans were fantastic, the lads really appreciate that and so do I.

"The positive is that we have played a League Two team and that is where the lads want to be.

"We now have a big game next week and we'll go into that looking to put in a better performance."
