HARRIERS have announce that the club’s management team have signed new contracts at Aggborough.

Manager John Eustace, Head of Coaching Matt Gardiner and Coach Kevin Phillips have all agreed new deals to cover the 2017/18 season.

After a solid season of progress thus far on the back of a turbulent last twelve for the club on and off the field, Chairman Colin Gordon was understandably delighted with the news.

He explained: “I’ve known John for many years and knew that, as an individual, we would be getting a leader and a great professional when we brought him in.

“What nobody knew at that time was the type of manager he would be, and to say he has shown his qualities superbly would be an understatement – his approach his meticulous and his work-rate is phenomenal.

“We’ve been delighted with how things have started and see John and his staff as a big part of the future. We’ve only just taken the first step forward and look forward to making many more together.”

Of being able to secure the rest of the management team, Colin added: “I’ve said previously that we have a backroom team that works tremendously hard but also works very well together as a unit.

“Matt’s experience and knowledge of this league has proved to be as exceptional as we knew it would, and as a coach Kev is making great progress as well – it was really important that we secured each of them.”
