How they rated:

Harriers 1, Boston United 1

Hall: Another accomplished display from the Kidderminster stopper. Commanded his box well and set up Sonupe's opener with a pinpoint pass over the top. His big moment came when he saved Adam Chapman's spot kick and James Clifton's follow-up. Also saved well from Kabongo Tshimanga in the second half to keep Harriers level. 8.5.

Austin: Another all energy showing down the right side. Today he was deployed as a full back in a back four but still got up the flank to provide more options when Harriers attacked. Defended well when required. 8.

Taylor: Struggled at times today and gave the ball away cheaply in the first half, one of which led to Boston's penalty chance. Still looked to support the attacks down the left when he had the chance. 6.5.

Croasdale: The skipper snapped into some early challenges as Harriers started the game well. Linked play nicely from his defensive midfield position and did well against a combative Boston side. 7.

Horsfall: Mixed debut for the on loan Huddersfield man. Composed on the ball and defended well but maybe caught for pace as Tshimanga raced in behind in the lead up to Boston's equaliser. Will be disappointed to have an own goal next to his name on debut but couldn't do much about the leveller as he instinctively looked to block the effort. 7.

Williams: Playing as a centre back today alongside new arrival Horsfall and did well. Comfortable in possession and carried the ball out to good affect when given he opportunity. His pace is always an asset at the back. 7.

Sonupe: Another start and another goal for the lively winger. Kept his composure once more to fire in from 20 yards after the Boston keeper rushed out to meet him after just six minutes. Scythed down at the end of the first half when breaking forward but wasn't as affective in the second half bar one late chance he could only slice over the bar. 7.5.

McQuilkin: Another hard-working showing from Harriers' chief playmaker. Drifted across the field looking for the ball but never managed to hurt Boston with those decisive balls we know he's capable off. Gave away the penalty in the first half but he was convinced his tackle was outside the box. 7.5.

Ironside: The striker struggled to work many clear cut chances throughout but did bring others into play from time to time. Missed one very good opening in the first half after Ngwatala had played him in. He dwelt on the chance and allowed the defenders to get back. Recovered from a knock to feature but not at his sharpest. 6.5.

Ngwatala: Drifted in and out of the contest. Flashes of his best work in the first half when he found space in key areas between the lines. Made one good through ball for Ironside and worked the keeper with a couple of other efforts. Another game and another improved showing but still not able to maintain his bursts of brilliance. 7.

Bradley: More involved today but still not quite gelled into the side. Linked up well and had one late curling effort tipped away. Like Ngwatala, more games will surely see an improvement. Promising. 7.

Subs:

Brown: Replaced Ironside just before the hour mark. Willing runner but struggled to really get into the game as the contest petered out. 6.5.

Wright: The bustling frontman made a decent impact late on. Worked the Boston keeper with one late drive and showed his strength to hold up the ball. Certainly offers Harriers a different option in attack moving forwards. 7.

Longbottom: Late replacement for Taylor as Harriers went looking for a winner. Did okay to work an effort from the right flank but dragged his shot into the side netting. 7.

Unused subs: Weeks, Webb.
