HARRIERS boss John Eustace was delighted after his players secured a National League North play-off place.

The Reds beat Tamworth 2-0 at Aggborough thanks to goals from Joe Ironside and Elton Ngwatala.

Eustace said: "That's a fantastic achievement for the club and for the lads. They fully deserve it.

"We had a really poor start to the season but the lads have stuck together and the squad has got stronger. We're delighted to get to the play-offs.

"We were really poor today. In those first 10 minutes Tamworth were the better team but luckily for us they couldn't take their chances and we have a top keeper in there in Brandon Hall.

"He was magnificent today and we are very fortunate that he was on our team.

"Second half we controlled the game better. They still had some chances but we had some good chances too.

"We've got good players out there and it's nice we're taking the chances now. Throughout the season we've needed lots of chances to score but we're getting more clinical and hopefully it'll continue.

"It's important now that in the next two or three weeks we get everyone as fit as we can going into the play-offs."
