Burr still hoping to keep Vincent

HARRIERS boss Steve Burr is hoping to keep out of contract midfielder James Vincent. The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The Aggborough outfit would get compensation for him if he were to move, under the Bosman Ruling. “Vinny is under the Bosman rule so whatever happens, we would get some compensation but I don’t want to lose him,” explained the manager. “As a young lad he has progressed each season with us and has played a vital part. “The lure of going somewhere else is sometimes hard for lads to turn down because of the financial implications involved but I’ll know more probably in the next week or so. “Hopefully Vinny decides he’ll stay here with us but it just shows you where people are looking [for players] and the reason they are looking is because he’s done well here.”
