HARRIERS boss Steve Burr expects Hereford to make life difficult in tomorrow's New Year derby at Aggborough.

Despite the Reds winning their Edgar Street Boxing Day clash 1-0, Martin Foyle's Bulls outfit will be looking to regain some local pride.

But Harriers will take some beating after seven straight wins in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

“I think it will be tight again," said Burr.

“Winning over at Hereford could give you a psychological barrier but we know that they are a good side and they caused us some problems on the day.

“I think we can play better than we did but you have to take into consideration the conditions and we adapted well.

“We’ll be ready – we just want to carry on with the good run of results we’ve had and kick on in the New Year.

“Martin will be looking to get his team to bounce back but our lads have got a point to prove because we showed one side of our game in digging in deep on Boxing Day but we know with better conditions we can play better.”

Wingers Marvin Johnson and Danny Pilkington are still injury doubts.

Hereford may hand a debut to new signing Chris Sharp, who joined from AFC Telford.
