Riley back at Harriers

DEFENDER Martin Riley became the latest player to sign on at Harriers when he put pen to paper on a one year deal today.

The 20-year-old was a revelation for Mark Yates' outfit last season and became one of the first names on the team-sheet after impressing in October.

Now he is aiming to put the disappointment of missing out on the play-offs in the Blue Square Premier out of his mind and build on last season's success.

"I'm back at Kiddy for another year, so let's crack on and see if we can have another good season," commented the former Wolverhampton Wanderers academy man.

"I thought I did well last season. Coming out of a big club like Wolves this was my chance to get some first team action in.

"The way it was looking like we would make the play-offs and missing out was a bit of a downer but looking at the whole season overall it was successful.

"I had to wait a little while to get my chance and when it came I knew I had to take it.

He became the second signing of the week after Dean Bennett agreed a new deal.
