MANAGER Mark Yates is hoping to continue his rebuilding at Harriers by bringing in new faces very soon.
The Aggborough boss has enjoyed a productive few days after securing Chris McPhee, Dean Bennett and Martin Riley.
With these three on board, the manager is still looking to bolster his options in all departments in the week or so and revealed he has several irons in the fire.
The manager was in buoyant mood after securing the services of top target McPhee on a two-year deal.
So far the manager had endured a frustrating time bringing in new faces but he can now see his squad slowly coming together.
Yates said: "Chris made a big impact when he joined us last season and we're delighted to have him on board, as we are with Martin Riley.
"Martin's a quality player, as is Dean Bennett, who's great in the dressing room and has bags of experience.
"The team is coming together slowly but it's taking longer than I would like.
"I've got a number of trialists we're having a look at and a couple of offers for players elsewhere that I am hoping will materialise.
"I am still monitoring lots of situation and it's one of those times when we've got to play it by ear for a little bit.
"Ideally, I'd like my squad set up and ready to go but it's not an ideal world at the moment.
"We would love to be ahead of the game but unfortunately it's taken a little bit of time but we're working extremely hard to bring in the best players we can and ensure we are competitive.
"We'll bring people in who are exciting to watch and will do well for the club."
Yates also praised the KHIST fans group, who helped to provide the car which allows McPhee to travel from his home near Exeter.
"KHIST have helped us out with Chris and we thank them," he added.
"That just shows that people are pulling in the right direction in difficult times."
The management will get a better idea of how suitable the trialists are in friendlies at Bromyard tonight (7.45pm kick-off) and Bewdley Town tomorrow (3pm kick-off).
