DEFENDER Martin Riley felt Harriers more than deserved a point at Blue Square Premier title-chasers Oxford United after the stalemate at the Kassam Stadium.
Harriers carved out several scoring chances at the U's and also produced a fine team defensive performance to stifle Oxford.
Riley, who had to wear a bandage near the end after a clash of heads, produced his best performance for some while alongside the impressive Gavin Caines, despite struggling all week with injury.
He said: "We had a few decent chances in the first half and could have scored but if someone had offered us 0-0 before the game we'd have taken it.
"I felt a bit off it. I haven't been able to train all week because of my glutes.
"Maybe that's why I didn't feel that good but it was a great team effort from front to the back."
Keeper Dean Coleman also made a fine return to first team action after a two-game absence.
Riley said: "Dean knows he's made a couple of mistakes but lets see what he can do when he's back in the team."
