Harriers have completed a last-ditch bit of business on transfer deadline day with the signing of exciting Romulus attacker and top scorer Marvin Johnson.
The 21-year-old winger, who has also featured regularly up front for the Northern Premier League First Division side, already has 18 goals to his name this season - 17 of those in the League, just behind recent Harriers signing, Anthony Malbon.
Johnson has been with Romulus for the last 18 months and been scoring goals with tremendous regularity, his efforts alerting a whole host of Championship scouts with the likes of Watford, Bristol City and Burnley all taking an interest.
But Harriers have swooped to make a move and have got their man - the club saw a small four-figure transfer offer accepted by Romulus and agreed personal terms with the player on Tuesday evening on an 18-month contract.
From there it was a whirlwind night for our First Team Secretary, Graham Hill, who swiftly dispatched the paperwork off to the relevant authorities well in time for Tuesday's 11pm transfer deadline.
Confirmation that Marvin is now Kidderminster player has finally come through from the FA and, although the transfer is now fully completed, fans will have to wait before they get a glimpse of their newest arrival as Johnson is unavailable for this weekend's FA Trophy tie at home to Luton Town having already played in this season's competition.
