ASSISTANT manager Gary Whild has warned Harriers they cannot take relegated Kettering for granted tomorrow.

The Aggborough outfit are on a high after their amazing fight back against Newport on Monday but they still have work to do to reach the Blue Square Bet Premier play-offs.

A win over the Poppies, who were relegated following defeat to Mansfield on Saturday, would keep the pressure on the sides around them in the chase for a top five finish.

Harriers go into the game in the final play-off spot but Luton, who Harriers play away on April 21, have two games in hand and trail by just three points.

However, Whild isn't expecting an easy ride from Kettering.

“This isn’t the type of league where there are easy games," commented Whild.

“Kettering are relegated and now and they have no worries or preoccupations, so they will be a test.

“We’ve just got to go out there and make sure we win the game.

“It’s very tight and we’re at the stage where every result has an impact on the season.”

A big victory on Saturday would certainly improve Harriers' play-off hopes as Luton have a far superior goal-difference.

Whild though is not worried about goals scored and is focusing purely on picking up all three points.

He added: “I think it's more important we get a result first rather than worry about how many goals we score.

“We score a lot of goals but it’s important to make sure we win the game.”

Jack Byrne looks set to miss what's left of the campaign after picking up a hamstring injury on Monday but Kyle Storer is available again after serving his two-match suspension.
