EVESHAM United will have to choose from a depleted squad when they travel to Wimborne Town in Southern League Division One South and West tomorrow (3pm).

United will be without eight players for the clash.

Elliot Kennedy (neck), Linden Dovey (illness), Marcus Palmer (back), Lance Smith, Aaron Drake (work) and Kevin Slack and Jack Watts (both holiday) are all unavailable for the fixture.

New signing George Washbourne also serves the first of a two-match ban picked up in a game for Heather St Johns against Littleton two weeks ago.

However, striker Carl Brown has turned down a move to rivals Yate Town and could be involved tomorrow despite only having played 20 minutes of football in pre-season due to a knee injury.

Manager Paul Collicutt is also hoping to draft in a couple of new recruits before the weekend.

Elsewhere, table-toppers Littleton visit Atherstone Town tomorrow (3pm) aiming to build on their impressive start in Midland League Division One.

The Worcestershire village side have won six of their eight games so far, including last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Hinckley, and are also the competition’s top scorers.

“Things are looking good and long may it continue,” said manager Andy Robbins.
