KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will be looking to put more pressure on the Vanarama Conference play-off pack when they visit Halifax tomorrow (3pm).

Gary Whild’s side are three games unbeaten in the league and head to The Shay just two points behind fifth-placed Halifax.

They are also riding the crest of a wave after hitting back from three goals down to draw 3-3 at leaders Barnet last Saturday.

Victory tomorrow would keep Harriers firmly in the early promotion mix before they take a break for the FA Cup next weekend.

But they will have to manage without captain Kyle Storer as the midfielder serves a one-match suspension for five yellow cards.

Player-coach Josh Gowling is also facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a shoulder injury in the Barnet draw and will be replaced by Jamie Grimes.

Whild said: “Josh has hurt his shoulder and this kind of injury has an affect on a lot of other things, so he’s going to be out for a little while.”

Halifax are bidding to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat at Eastleigh, which was their second loss in three games.
