MANAGER Paul Collicutt says Evesham United will not be getting ahead of themselves in their bid to reach the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West play-offs.

The Robins head to Wantage Town tonight (7.45pm) protecting a remarkable run of one defeat in 16 matches, the latest being a 1-0 win at Sholing on Saturday.

It has seen them climb to third in the table, six points behind second-placed Taunton Town and two ahead of Stratford Town, who also have a game in hand.

Collicutt said: “Our next goal is to win the next game. We will deal with tonight’s game and then we will start talking about Saturday.”

Defender Linden Dovey, midfielder Marcus Jackson and striker Carl Brown are back in contention but fellow forward Lance Smith (work) and defender Will Wellon (injury) are ruled out.
