THE University of Worcester’s men’s basketball team have a fifth consecutive British Universities and Colleges Sport crown in their sights.
Worcester face Brunel in the last eight at the University of East London today with a potential semi tomorrow against Northumbria ahead of the final on March 25.
Worcester, who finished third in the Premier North division, have Wolves centre Robert Thurman in their ranks as well as Kalil Irving and Caylin Raftopoulos.
Coach Paul James said: “It’s going to be a really tall order but we’re going to enjoy it and give it all we’ve got.
“We finished third in our league, which was a great effort given some of the talent we played against. We haven’t had so many BBL players in the squad this season.”
