KIDDERMINSTER Harriers hope to bolster their conveyor belt of talent with the non-contract signing of striker Gurjit Singh.

The 24-year-old will continue to play four levels below Harriers for Midland League Premier Division strugglers Tipton Town while training full-time at Aggborough.

Singh has scored six goals in nine games for Tipton since signing in January after bagging 21 in 25 fixtures for West Midlands League side Smethwick Rangers.

Harriers hope to make his move permanent in the summer.

Manager Gary Whild said: "Gaz has signed non-contract and will train with us as an introduction to full-time football to help and improve him.

"All being well, he will link up with us at the end of this season and for the next pre-season.

"He is a talented lad who could replicate what many other players have done here — the club think he has the ability to develop and improve."

Singh said: “My strengths are that I can score goals and beat players using my movement.

"My aim now is to try and earn a contract here and get into full-time football — that’s the dream.”
