BOTH horses finished the tough Crabbie's Grand National for Claines trainer Dr Richard Newland but there was no repeat of his shock 2014 success.
Last year's surprise champion Pineau De Re managed 12th but fellow 25-1 hope Royale Knight outshone his stable-mate with sixth place behind retiring champion jockey Tony McCoy and 6-1 favourite Shutthefrontdoor, trained by Jonjo O'Neill in the north Cotswolds.
Many Clouds was the 25-1 winner by one-and-three-quarter lengths for Hungerford handler Oliver Sherwood and jockey Leighton Aspell, who had ridden Pineau De Re to the 2014 triumph.
Monbeg Dude (40-1), trained by Michael Scudamore near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, finished third and Alvarado (20-1), based with Fergal O'Brien in the Cotswolds, clinched fourth place, while Saint Are (25-1) secured second spot.
