WORCESTER Wolves will travel to rivals Leicester Riders tonight aiming to keep alive their hopes of a top-two finish in the British Basketball League (7.30pm).
Wolves, who are third in the table, have already toppled second-placed Riders once this season and will meet them again on Friday at the University of Worcester Arena.
Paul James’ side trail Riders by four points with just three matches of the regular campaign remaining.
Riders are still chasing the title but the crown could be claimed by Newcastle Eagles tomorrow night if Wolves complete a league double over the Leicester outfit.
Head coach James said: “We’ve already beaten Leicester there once, so if we win again we’ll take the head to head.”
Wolves have won six of their last seven games, including Friday’s 92-80 home success against Glasgow Rocks.
The guard partnership of Chavis Holmes (22 points) and Alex Owumi (19 points) led the way for Wolves in their triumph against Rocks.
