GOALKEEPER Danny Lewis, defender Kevin Nicholson and midfielder Callum Gittings have all left Kidderminster Harriers.

Lewis and Gittings, whose contracts expire in May, are both pursuing interests away from full-time football, while Nicholson’s deal has been cancelled by mutual consent.

Nicholson moved to Aggborough following his release by Torquay last summer and made 46 appearances for the club, scoring once.

Lewis and Gittings joined Harriers in 2010 and have made more than 200 and 150 appearances for the club respectively, the latter bagging 21 goals during his stay.

Harriers manager Gary Whild said: “Both Danny and Callum have been loyal to the club and have enjoyed a lot of success in that time, the pinnacle being runners-up in the league and just missing out on the title in 2012-13.

“They have now both decided that they want to pursue other things outside of full-time football.

“It was only fair of the club to give them the opportunity to do that.

“At this stage of Kevin’s career it is best for him to find a club which better suits him and his family.”
