MANAGER Gary Whild revealed there will be a fresh start for Kidderminster Harriers strikers Craig Reid and Reece Styche.

Despite speculation the National League outfit may look to move on the pair, who are on comparatively high wages compared to the club's much-reduced playing budget, Whild feels they could have a part to play during the 2015-16 season.

They joined on two-year deals in the summer of 2014 with the hope they could bag the goals to enhance Harriers' play-off hopes.

But both struggled to find their best form with Reid scoring five goals and making just under 30 appearances.

Styche had two loan spells at Tamworth and scored only twice during 19 league games for Kidderminster.

“It’s well documented that Craig and Reece are higher earners but it’s a clean slate and a fresh start for the both of them here," said the Harriers boss.

“Craig was a regular until the club’s problems arose last season and Reece has scored goals in the Conference before.

“With all the disruption we had, the season wasn’t easy for them but if they can work hard they could make a big difference for us.”

Meanwhile, Harriers have announced they are on course to sell more than 600 season tickets ahead of the new season.

At last Friday's 5pm deadline, the club had sold 482 early bird tickets thanks to a brisk final week with junior supporters expected to add more than three figures to that total.
