VENUES across Worcestershire are supporting England Netball’s popular Back to Netball scheme.
Netball sessions are now taking place at RGS Worcester, Stourport Sports Centre and Pershore High School.
The sessions are for all ages and abilities and are coached by qualified and experienced coaches.
England netball have attracted 60,000 new people to the game since the scheme was introduced five years ago.
Back to Netball sessions are running across England this January and provide women of all ages with a gentle reintroduction to the sport.
Sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting.
Gayle Penn, the netball development officer for Worcestershire, is coaching the sessions at Pershore which take place on Tuesday evenings.
She said: “Women don’t need any special kit, just clothes that they feel comfortable exercising in and trainers that lace up.”
Anyone interested should contact Gayle Penn by e-mailing gayle.penn@englandnetball.co.uk or visit englandnetball.co.uk/my-game/ back-to-netball
