AS they learn to play golf, children are benefitting from equipment donated by Worcester firm SME Solicitors.

SME Solicitors, Sansome Walk, have donated clubs, balls and shirts for youngsters at Ravenmeadow as part of the specialist coaching schemes and the Worcester venue’s junior golf academy.

SME’s Stacey Redman said: “When we heard about the new academy, we knew it was something we had to support.

“Golf is a great way to meet new people, develop communication skills, build confidence and enhance self-belief.

“These are all qualities to take forward in to adult life. Leo (Tarrant) and the team at the academy share our aim to make sport accessible and fun for all and we are looking forward to being involved.”

Claines-based Ravenmeadow’s Tarrant said: “We love the drive and enthusiasm of the folk at SME to get kids into sport.

“Their support is allowing the children greater scope to start learning the sport.”
