ALREADY-relegated Kidderminster Harriers ended their home campaign in the Vanarama National League with a spirited 1-1 draw against a Dover Athletic side who clinched their spot in the play-offs.

Keith Lowe headed the opener for Harriers, who appointed former Watford and Derby County midfielder John Eustace as their new manager in midweek.

Ricky Miller levelled for Dover before the break when he picked up a long free-kick before dispatching the ball home.

Dover’s Mitch Walker held Lewis Kinsella’s shot before Dean Snedker was forced to come off his line to deny Ricky Modeste.

Harriers took the lead when Lowe’s fine header sailed past Walker from Ben Whitfield’s corner. Dover levelled when Miller nipped in between two defenders and coolly planted the ball past Snedker.

Dover ended the first half on top and started the second in a similar fashion with Snedker making a fine save to keep out Sam Magri’s header.

Arthur Gnahoua made his return after a lay-off and he went close to putting the hosts ahead.

Harriers almost snatched a winner when the ball fell to Whitfield who forced a good save from Walker.
