Four club members were crowned regional champions with gold medals for Eleanor Niel, Lucy Clayton, Sam Hall and Anthony Redfern.

The girls’ 4x100m relay team also broke a long-standing county record.

Championship debutant Niel qualified through the heats of the girls’ 15 years 50m breaststroke in first place before powering to claim regional gold in 36.79 seconds.
