WORCESTER Raiders finally got their hands on some silverware thanks to a fine comeback.
The Claines Lane side won the West Midlands League Division One Cup when they rallied from 2-0 down at half-time to win 3-2 against Herefordshire’s Kington Town.
Matt Andrews (2) and Nick MacPherson scored the goals at Wolverhampton Casuals’ ground.
Raiders had lost to a last-minute penalty in the Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup final against Droitwich Spa in late April.
They beat Darlaston Town 2-1 in the league cup semis and Penncroft 2-1 in the last eight.
Raiders finished 12th in their division with nine wins and 17 defeats.
