Worcester Rowing Club set for spring regatta
WORCESTER Rowing Club are holding their spring regatta on the River Severn tomorrow.
The annual event will see boats travel about 800 metres downstream from the Dog and Duck corner of Worcester Racecourse to Sabrina Bridge.
Held under British Rowing’s rules of racing, it will be run in two divisions, with 285 competitors taking part in 64 events.
The winning crews will pick up Worcester Rowing Club’s China tankards.
The regatta divisions start at 9am and 1pm.
