WORCESTERSHIRE League Second XI Division One leaders Worcester Nomads moved 57 points ahead of Stourport after a seven-wicket win over Evesham.

Opener Roger Dixon scored 58 in Nomads' successful chase of 166 all out.

Redditch beat Worcester by seven wickets after the city side were bowled out for 105.

Division Two table-toppers Feckenham thrashed Cookley thanks to Hugh Humphries' 109 not out.

Avoncroft’s Jon Bird took 6-32 as they won their first match of the season against Droitwich.

Rushwick’s Ryan Lane scored 119 but they lost to Burghill, Tillington and Weobley.

Division Five joint-leaders Hallow and Old Elizabethans won against Old Hill and West Malvern respectively.

Hallow’s Graeme Fowler (143no) and Neil Strange (89no) had an unbroken first-wicket stand of 276 before Hill subsided to 28 all out.
