NUNNERY Wood Sabres under 12s won Mercian Fortis Junior Football League Division One but just missed out on the double.
Worcester-based Sabres clinched the title with a nail-biting 2-0 win over fellow challengers Newtown Sports Juniors.
The Malvern side topped the table by one point before kick-off but goals from Harry Taylor and Cameron Smith with a free-kick knocked them off the summit.
But Sports got their revenge in the cup final with a 2-1 success at Malvern Town.
Coaches Russ Amies and Rob Smith said it had been a great campaign for Sabres and they were already looking forward to next season.
