TWO goals from Martin Newman put Worcester Raiders back on track in the chasing pack at the top of West Midlands League Division One.

Newman fired his side to a 2-0 home win over second-placed Tipton Town at Claines Lane.

Raiders, who play the highest level of Saturday football in Worcester with City ground-sharing at Bromsgrove’s Victoria Ground, are fourth in the table with games in hand on those above them.

Hereford Lads Club have taken the division by storm, though, with a 100 per cent record from their first 11 games.

Raiders visit mid-table FC Stafford tomorrow at Wolgarston Sports Centre (3pm) with Hereford heading to Wem Town.
