NORTH Midlands under 18s play the first of three county matches against Staffordshire at Burntwood tomorrow (7.30pm).

The game is the first stage in the selection process for this season’s England Counties team.

It will be followed by two trips to Broadstreet, Coventry, against Warwickshire on October 30 and for the Super Sunday tournament on November 6.

Meanwhile, North Midlands Shield holders Kidderminster Carolians face a trip to Stourbridge Lions in the quarter-finals if they win at Edwardians in the first round.

Shrewsbury or Oswestry entertain either Woodrush or Upton.
