BOSS John Eustace is taking nothing for granted despite his red-hot Harriers continuing to progress at a rate of knots.

Kidderminster haven't tasted defeat in seven games and have chalked up 26 goals in that period, most recently last Saturday's 6-0 FA Cup win over Weymouth.

However, Eustace isn't getting carried away and is focused on nothing more than helping his young players continue their rapid development.

He said: "I'm really pleased with how we are doing but it is still very early days.

"It is clear that we are a team that likes to go out and play attractive football but we still aren't the finished article.

"There is a lot more improvement to come from us and it is all about learning from every game we play."

Harriers have been drawn away at League Two side Blackpool in the FA Cup first round following the Weymouth success last weekend.

A brace from Tyrell Waite and strikes from Mani Dieseruvwe, Jordan Tunnicliffe, Arthur Gnahoura and substitute Liam Truslove saw the home side overwhelm their opponents at Aggborough.

The boss is pleased with the way his side roared past the Terras, saying: "The main thing for me was to get through.

"We had them watched and they are a good side that is doing reasonably well in their league. I'd have taken a 1-0 win before the game so it was pleasing that we took our chances and played how we did."

Harriers will now go to Bloomfield Road to take on the Tangerines over the weekend of November 5.

Eustace is looking forward to the clash and thinks it is another good opportunity for his players to show their potential.

He added: "I'm looking forward to it. It is a great draw for our young squad to experience what it is like playing against a league team.

"Hopefully the lads can go there and express themselves and show everyone the potential this team has."

The Reds will look to continue their push to close the gap to the National League North's pacesetters when they host 16th-placed FC United of Manchester at Aggborough this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Elton Ngwatala is struggling to make the clash due to the shoulder injury he picked up against Weymouth. His absence may open the door for goalscoring substitute Liam Truslove.

Truslove found the net against Weymouth to bag his fifth of the season after climbing off the bench.

Meanwhile, Eustace praised the way young Mitch Evans took to making his first team debut last Saturday.

"It was a reward for how he played in the FA Youth Cup and he did well," added the manager. "It is great to see a young lad come through the academy and it highlights exactly what the club is all about.

"We don't have the money to go out and buy experienced players, we have to develop them ourselves and build for the future."
